Overview
This page summarises how bookings work with African Golf Escapes. Full terms governing your booking are set out in our Terms & Conditions, which form the binding agreement between you and African Golf Escapes.
Confirming Your Booking
A booking is only confirmed once African Golf Escapes has received the required deposit and issued written confirmation. Verbal or email enquiries do not constitute a confirmed booking. Tee times and other arrangements cannot be held without a confirmed deposit.
Deposit and Payment
A 50% non-refundable deposit is required to confirm your booking. The remaining 50% balance is due no later than 30 days prior to the first day of travel. For bookings confirmed within 45 days of travel, full payment is required upon confirmation. Payment may be made by EFT or international bank transfer. Banking details are provided on your invoice. All bank charges and transfer fees are for the client's account.
Cancellation
All cancellations must be submitted in writing to hello@africangolfescapes.com. The cancellation date is the date written notice is received.
- More than 60 days before travel: Full refund of all payments including the deposit.
- 60 to 46 days before travel: Deposit forfeited. Balance refunded in full.
- 45 to 31 days before travel: Deposit forfeited plus 25% of the remaining balance.
- 30 to 15 days before travel: Deposit forfeited plus 50% of the remaining balance.
- 14 days or fewer, or no-show: 100% of total booking cost forfeited.
Amendments
Date changes and amendments are subject to availability and may attract an administration fee of R500 per booking. Amendments within 14 days of travel cannot be guaranteed and may be treated as a cancellation and rebook.
Cancellation by African Golf Escapes
In the unlikely event that we must cancel your tour due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control, we will offer a full refund of all monies paid to us, or an alternative tour of equivalent value at your discretion. We will not be liable for any consequential losses including independently booked flights or accommodation.
Travel Insurance
Travel insurance is strongly recommended, covering trip cancellation, medical expenses, emergency evacuation, and golf equipment. We do not provide travel insurance and accept no liability for uninsured losses.
Governing Law
All bookings are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa. Disputes are subject to South African court jurisdiction.
