• The course runs through working vineyards — on several holes your ball can come to rest among the vine rows.
• Boschenmeer is one of the few courses in South Africa where the wildlife hazards include vervet monkeys, who have been known to steal golf balls from the fairway.
• The Du Toitskloof mountains visible from the course peak at over 1,800 metres and are covered in snow during cold winter fronts.
